Response Company of Australia Pty Ltd (ORCA) was established in 1996
following the Victorian Government’s Policy supporting private
sector involvement to achieve competitive, efficient and
cost-effective port operations.
With
Government and industry downsizing, the need was identified to
maintain suitably qualified personnel to provide response
capabilities should the need arise.The
loss of experienced personnel could post a significant risk to the
nation’s ability to deal with major pollution incidents.
For
most organisations, the ability to perform effectively during a
pollution incident is hampered by a lack of available personnel and
insufficient training. By working with you, we can deliver a
realistic and workable solution to these issues. This will not only
enable you to meet your corporate objectives and community
